Terms & Conditions

1. Service Scope

Jewell Projects delivers tailored educational and enablement solutions to help clients scale knowledge, build capability, and engage their communities. Services include:

  • Online & On-Demand Course Design & Delivery
  • Workshops & Masterclasses (Virtual and In-Person)
  • Knowledge Bank Setup (e.g. content libraries, learning hubs)
  • Community Platform Implementation (forums, gated groups)
  • User Enablement Programs, Onboarding Materials & Playbooks

These services are delivered using platforms such as WordPress LMS plugins, Kajabi, Thinkific, Google Workspace, or custom learning environments.

2. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

  • Provide learning objectives, target audience insights, and any proprietary content to be integrated into the training.
  • Ensure timely availability of subject matter experts (if co-creating) and stakeholders for approvals and feedback.
  • Provide or arrange access to platforms, logins, and hosting for digital learning environments unless Jewell Projects is managing this as part of the scope.

Failure to provide timely content or feedback may delay delivery.

3. Deliverables & Timelines

Deliverables may include:

  • Course outlines, modules, and digital assets (e.g. video scripts, quizzes, slide decks)
  • Workshop materials (e.g. templates, checklists, workbooks)
  • Learning platform configuration or integration
  • Admin handover documentation and training (where applicable)

Typical development timelines range from 3–6 weeks for course creation, and 2–3 weeks for workshops or knowledge hub configuration. Specific schedules will be confirmed in the project plan.

4. IP & Confidentiality

  • Jewell Projects retains ownership of all training frameworks, templates, methodologies, and original instructional design elements.
  • Finalised, paid-for course content and materials customised for the client may be used by the client for internal purposes under a perpetual, non-transferable license.
  • Community and knowledge platform configurations are licensed to the client upon full payment.

All shared strategic or proprietary information will be treated as confidential.

5. Payment Terms

  • 50% deposit is required to commence design or platform setup.
  • Remaining 50% is due on delivery of final materials or prior to the first scheduled session (for workshops), whichever occurs first.
  • Optional: Hosting, maintenance, or user support agreements can be billed monthly.

Additional platform fees, third-party tools (e.g. LMS, webinar software), or plugin licenses are billed separately.

6. Termination Clauses

  • Written notice of at least 14 days is required for cancellation of any course build or workshop.
  • For cancellations after work has begun, a partial invoice will be issued for all time and materials completed to date.
  • In-person workshop cancellations within 5 days of the event may incur venue and resource charges.

Jewell Projects reserves the right to postpone live events due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. presenter illness, safety risks).

7. Disclaimers

  • Jewell Projects does not guarantee learner outcomes, participation rates, or ROI unless defined in a separate performance agreement.
  • The client is responsible for final review and internal legal or compliance approvals of training content where applicable.
  • Platform uptime, user access issues, or performance limitations are the responsibility of the platform provider unless Jewell Projects is managing hosting and maintenance.

8. NSW / Australian Law Reference

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Services are delivered in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law, relevant IP licensing frameworks, and digital education regulations. Disputes shall be managed under the exclusive jurisdiction of NSW courts.
