Terms & Conditions

1. Service Scope

Jewell Projects delivers strategic and creative branding services, including:

  • Visual Identity Systems: Logo design, typography, colour palettes
  • Brand Guidelines & Style Guides
  • Marketing Collateral Design: Print and digital assets (e.g. brochures, pitch decks, social templates)
  • Packaging Design (non-structural or in collaboration with manufacturers)
  • Iconography, Infographics, and Visual Language Systems
  • Full Brand Creation or Brand Refresh Programs

All creative work is tailored to reflect the client’s brand positioning and industry context.

2. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

  • Provide timely access to background materials, existing brand assets (if applicable), and any mandatory inclusions.
  • Review and approve initial concepts, feedback rounds, and final outputs within agreed timelines.
  • Secure any third-party approvals (e.g., co-branded partners, legal checks) required for rollout.
  • Provide content (copy/text) unless otherwise contracted.

Delays in approvals or scope changes may affect delivery schedules.

3. Deliverables & Timelines

Deliverables may include:

  • Primary and secondary logo files in multiple formats
  • Typography and colour palette assets
  • Brand Style Guide (PDF)
  • Designed collateral (e.g. business cards, brochures, signage, packaging, social graphics)
  • Source files (where agreed) or production-ready files (default)

Typical project duration: 2–4 weeks for visual identity; 1–2 weeks per collateral item. Project schedules will be confirmed post-onboarding.

4. IP & Confidentiality

Upon full payment:

  • The client is granted a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use the final approved brand assets and collateral for internal and external communication purposes.
  • Jewell Projects retains rights to use design work in its portfolio unless a written NDA prohibits it.

All concepts, drafts, and unused designs remain the property of Jewell Projects. All confidential materials exchanged will be treated as confidential.

5. Payment Terms

  • 50% of the total fee is due at project commencement.
  • Final 50% is due upon delivery of final artwork or within 14 days of the invoice date.
  • Work beyond scope or exceeding agreed revision rounds is charged separately at the prevailing hourly rate or agreed flat rate.

No rights are transferred until all fees are fully paid.

6. Termination Clauses

  • Either party may terminate with 14 days’ written notice.
  • Work completed up to the termination point will be invoiced and provided in its current state (e.g. concepts, drafts).
  • Jewell Projects reserves the right to withhold final files until payment is settled.

Termination due to breach may forfeit access to materials developed to date.

7. Disclaimers

Jewell Projects creates high-quality, fit-for-purpose design work based on provided information. However:

  • It is the client’s responsibility to verify all legal, regulatory, or third-party usage rights (e.g. trademarks, stock image licensing, barcodes).
  • Jewell Projects is not responsible for the final print quality if production is managed externally.
  • Creative outcomes are based on subjectivity and business alignment, not subjective personal preferences.

8. NSW / Australian Law Reference

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Both parties agree to resolve disputes under the jurisdiction of the NSW court system. Services are delivered in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law and applicable intellectual property law frameworks.
