Printing Services

These terms apply to all print-related services provided by Jewell Projects. By engaging our print services or approving a print job, the client agrees to the following:

1. Scope of Responsibility

Jewell Projects operates as a design and production liaison. We do not directly manufacture printed goods. Execution of print production is handled by third-party suppliers. While we coordinate and quality-check the process, we are not liable for outcomes once client approval is received.

2. Quotes and Pricing

Quotes are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated. All pricing is in AUD and exclusive of GST. Final prices may vary if there are changes in print specifications, quantities, materials, or delivery requirements.

3. Deposit Requirement

A 100% deposit is required before a print job proceeds to production, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Payment Terms

Full payment must be received prior to the release of final printed materials or delivery. Delays in payment may result in delayed production or dispatch.

5. Artwork Approval

The client must visually review and approve all artwork before printing. Written approval confirms acceptance of layout, spelling, imagery, technical specs, and colour expectations. No changes can be made once approval is given.

6. Proofing

Clients must physically inspect printed proofs or samples where provided and available. Final approval must be given in writing prior to production. By choosing not to inspect a physical proof, the client waives all rights of recourse related to colour accuracy, material quality, layout issues, or other print characteristics that would have been apparent upon physical inspection. Approval confirms full acceptance of the job as presented.

7. Colour Disclaimer

Colour variations between on-screen previews, proofs, and final printed materials are expected due to differences in screen calibration and CMYK print processes. Jewell Projects does not guarantee exact colour matches.

8. Material Variation

Slight differences in texture, finish, and appearance may occur across different paper stocks, batches, or suppliers. These are within industry tolerances and not grounds for claim.

9. Trim and Alignment Tolerance

Commercial print processes allow for minor deviations in trim, fold, and alignment. Variations within ±2mm are considered acceptable.

10. Print Quantity Variance

Delivered quantities may vary by up to ±5% of the ordered amount. This is a standard industry tolerance and not subject to credit or refund.

11. File and Content Accuracy

The client is solely responsible for verifying all supplied content including names, data, URLs, and spelling. Jewell Projects accepts no liability for content errors after client approval.

12. Late Changes

Any change requested after artwork approval or once production has commenced will be treated as a new job and quoted separately.

13. Production Turnaround

Typical turnaround time is 5–10 business days from approval and payment, depending on job scope. Expedited jobs may incur rush fees.

14. Delivery Costs

Delivery is charged at cost and calculated based on order size, weight, and number of locations. Multi-point deliveries may incur additional fees.

15. Transit Times

All delivery timelines are estimates only. Jewell Projects does not guarantee transit times. Delays by couriers or freight providers are outside our control.

16. Risk and Title

Ownership of goods passes to the client upon dispatch. Any damage or loss during transit must be addressed with the courier or freight provider.

17. Reprint Policy

Reprints are provided only in cases of proven print or production error by Jewell Projects or its suppliers. Claims must be made in writing within 3 business days of receipt and must include clear photographic evidence. Goods must be returned if requested.

18. No Refunds for Client Errors

Reprints required due to client error, such as incorrect artwork, outdated content, or non-disclosure of requirements, are chargeable in full.

19. Force Majeure

Jewell Projects is not liable for failure or delay in performing obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including supplier issues, strikes, pandemics, or natural disasters.

20. Copyright & Usage Rights

Clients confirm they have the legal rights to use all content submitted, including logos, images, fonts, and data. Jewell Projects accepts no liability for unauthorised use or copyright infringement.

21. Confidentiality

All artwork, data, and business information provided to us will be treated as confidential and not disclosed without prior consent.

22. Limitation of Liability

Jewell Projects’ liability is limited to the total value of the print service provided. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including revenue loss or missed business opportunities.

23. Acceptance of Terms

By approving a print quote or proceeding with a print job, the client acknowledges they have read, understood, and accepted these terms in full.
