Terms & Conditions

1. Service Scope

Jewell Projects provides strategic and operational support for social media presence and performance across key platforms. Services include:

  • Social Platform Strategy & Channel Planning (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube)
  • Content Calendar Development, Scheduling & Posting
  • Community Management (moderation, engagement, message responses)
  • Influencer Campaign Coordination & User-Generated Content (UGC) Planning
  • Integration of Paid and Organic Social Activity (boosted posts, ad integration)

Engagements may be short-term campaigns or ongoing monthly retainers.

2. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

  • Provide access to social media accounts (admin/editor roles) and third-party tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite).
  • Approve all content, calendars, and campaign proposals in a timely manner.
  • Manage legal and brand compliance checks internally, including influencer contract approvals.
  • Maintain responsibility for final moderation policies, legal disclaimers, and compliance on public-facing profiles.

Jewell Projects is not liable for reputational risks due to unmanaged community responses if community moderation services are not included in the agreement.

3. Deliverables & Timelines

Deliverables may include:

  • Strategy deck and content pillars
  • Monthly content calendar and caption sheets
  • Post graphics, carousels, videos (where included)
  • Community reports (engagement metrics, follower growth)
  • Influencer briefs, shortlist, and engagement coordination

Standard delivery timelines:

  • Calendar delivery: 5–10 business days in advance of posting month
  • Community engagement: Monitored during business hours (unless 24/7 monitoring is included)
  • Campaigns: Setup and rollout within 2–3 weeks unless otherwise scoped

4. IP & Confidentiality

  • Final creative content, captions, and strategy documents are licensed to the client for brand use upon full payment.
  • Jewell Projects retains rights to use anonymised campaign results or creative examples for portfolio or case study purposes unless agreed otherwise.
  • Influencer submissions, UGC content, and external collaborations are subject to third-party rights and permissions.

All strategy documents and platform credentials are handled confidentially.

5. Payment Terms

  • Monthly retainers are invoiced in advance and payable within 7 days of invoice.
  • Campaigns or influencer-specific projects require 50% upfront and 50% upon delivery or deployment.
  • Media spend is billed directly to the client by the ad platforms and is not included in Jewell Projects’ fees.

Late payments may result in paused posting schedules or community support.

6. Termination Clauses

  • Ongoing retainers may be cancelled with 30 days’ written notice.
  • Any pre-approved content already created at the time of termination will be delivered and invoiced.
  • Platform access for Jewell Projects team will be revoked upon final handover.

Campaign-related projects cannot be refunded once influencer briefs are issued or content has entered the review or publishing pipeline.

7. Disclaimers

  • Jewell Projects does not guarantee growth in followers, reach, or engagement due to platform algorithm unpredictability and audience behaviour.
  • We are not responsible for influencer performance unless managed under a performance-based contract.
  • Community management responses are handled during business hours only unless a custom SLA is in place.
  • Any breach of platform rules or content takedowns are the client’s responsibility unless specifically advised otherwise.

8. NSW / Australian Law Reference

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Services are compliant with the Australian Consumer Law, Spam Act 2003, Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and relevant social platform policies (e.g., Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn). All disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the NSW courts.
